100 Tips to Plan a Family Vacation to New York

New York is a great place to visit with kids.  New York City is a child friendly city.

If you are traveling with kids that are preschool, most likely you are looking for the playground. The playground in New York is actually graded for the ages. Some swings are high that you don’t have to break your back bending down to push your kids. Swings for older kids are lower as the kids get bigger that they can swing themselves.

In the summer we love the parks because they actually have water fountains and the kids have lots of fun playing in that. But New York is much more than just taking your kids to the playground.

There are the museums, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and many times options to teach older kids about careers in the future. Some families visit to check out universities in the hope that their kids would attend one of the universities in the city.

Traveling as a family can put a big dent in your budget and I have put together my tips on saving you money, things you could do as a family, still have lots of fun without spending a fortune.
